• Walker Smith è il vero nome del pugile Sugar Ray Robinson.
• Greg McKinney è deceduto il 12 aprile 1998. Per una strana coincidenza, Sugar Ray Robinson è morto esattamente nove anni prima, il 12 aprile 1989.
• Ad un certo punto, si vede Susan Ivanova che legge un libro. Secondo la copertina, l'autore è Harlan Ellison. J. Michael Straczynski ha rivelato che si tratta di una finta autobiografia di Ellison e che la foto che si vede sulla copertina è proprio quella di Harlan Ellison.
