La storia della guerra tra Terrestri e Minbari raccontata da Londo a due bambini centauri.

- Londo, facente parte della delegazione centauri sulla Terra poco prima dell'inizio della guerra tra Terrestri e Minbari, ha avvertito i leader militari terrestri di non inviare convogli nello spazio minbari, al massimo una nave, ma i generali terrestri, pieni di spocchia dopo la recente vittoria sui Dilgar (Deathwalker), hanno deciso di inviare un convoglio di navi capitanato dalla EAS Prometheus (A Late Delivery from Avalon).
- Kosh Naranek e un secondo Vorlon (Kosh Ulkesh?) erano in contatto con Dukhat (ed in seguito con Delenn e Lenonn) e hanno spinto a risolvere i conflitti tra Minbari e Umani.
- I Ranger, prima e durante la guerra Terrestri/Minbari, erano sottodimensionati come numero e come livello dei fondi a loro disposizione, in quanto non si teneva in grande considerazione le profezie di Valen.
- L'evento che ha fatto scoppiare la guerra tra Terrestri e Minbari è stata una incomprensione, alla quale il capitano della spedizione terrestre ha reagito aprendo il fuoco ed uccidendo Dukhat (A Late Delivery from Avalon, Atonement).
- I Centauri hanno rifiutato di fornire armi e supporto tattico ai Terrestri durante la guerra contro i Minbari, mentre i Narn sono stati lieti di farlo.
- Sheridan ha attirato la Black Star, la nave ammiraglia dei Minbari, in una imboscata ed è riuscito a distruggerla insieme ad alcune navi appoggio. Una vittoria che ha contribuito, seppure momentaneamente, ad alzare il morale degli Umani, fino a quel momento incapaci di una vittoria di tale portata contro i Minbari.
- Sheridan e Franklin, con l'aiuto di G'Kar come traduttore, sono stati inviati in missione segreta con l'obiettivo di incontrare Lenonn, capo dei Ranger, e cercare di porre fine al conflitto. Purtroppo, l'intervento dei Centauri ha fatto fallire la missione, visto che Lenonn è rimasto ucciso.
- Dopo avere utilizzato il Triluminare su Sinclair (And the Sky Full of Stars), i Minbari si sono arresi, alla vigilia del successo finale, senza fornire spiegazioni ufficiali. In realtà, la resa è stata dovuta alla scoperta che in Sinclair si è reincarnata l'anima di Valen.

- La nave del Consiglio dei Grigi era in rotta verso Z'ha'dum, per verificare se la profezia di Valen si stesse avverando, quando è avvenuto il disastroso primo contatto con gli Umani.
- Londo ha osservato di nascosto almeno una parte della conversazione tra Delenn e Sheridan nella cella su Centauri Prime in cui il secondo era rinchiuso (War Without End - Part 2).
- La frase di Dukhat durante l'investitura di Delenn come membro del Consiglio dei Grigi ("Will you follow me into fire, will you follow me into darkness?") è la medesima utilizzata durante la Cerimonia della Rinascita (The Parliament of Dreams) ed è un riferimento alla fondazione del Consiglio da parte di Valen. Questo potrebbe implicare che la fondazione del Consiglio sia vista dai Minbari come una rinascita.
- In Points of Departure, veniamo a sapere che Sheridan ha distrutto la Black Star minando la cintura di asteroidi del sistema solare terrestre. In questo film, però, tutto lascia intendere che l'imboscata sia avvenuta molto più lontana dalla Terra.
- Sono bastati solo due ordigni nucleari per distruggere la Black Star. Questo fa pensare al motivo per cui i Terrestri non abbiano usato tali ordigni anche in altre occasioni. Forse è stato l'effetto sorpresa a permettere di sfruttare le due bombe con pieno successo, mentre se la nave minbari fosse stata in allarme gli effetti sarebbero stati ben diversi.
- L'incontro tra Sheridan e Lennon è avvenuto in un avamposto del sistema Epsilon, lo stesso in cui verrà costruita Babylon 5.
- Londo sostiene di avere avuto quattro mogli. Tre le conosciamo, avendole viste in Soul Mates (Timov, Daggair e Mariel). La quarta potrebbe essere la ballerina che il Centauri afferma di avere sposato in A Voice in the Wilderness - Part 1, sempre che non fosse una delle tre altre mogli.
- Rispetto a quanto visto in Atonement, nella scena dell'attacco della EAS Prometheus alla nave di Dukhat, mancano le navi dei Soul Hunter, che come sappiamo hanno tentato senza successo di prendere l'anima del leader minbari (Soul Hunter).
- Nella serie televisiva, Ivanova indossa un solo orecchino. In questo film scopriamo il perché: è uno dei due che costituivano il suo paio fortunato. Quello mancante lo ha dato al fratello Ganya prima che questi partisse per la guerra.
- Londo racconta la storia ai due ragazzi centauri poco prima di ordinare alle sue guardie che Delenn e Sheridan siano portati dinnanzi a lui per l'udienza vista in War Without End - Part 2.
- Le riprese sono terminate il 30 giugno 1997.
- Questo film è disponibile in DVD (Regione 2) in tre edizioni: una singola, una in accoppiamento con il pilot The Gathering, ed infine in un cofanetto che raccoglie tutti i Film TV basati su Babylon 5.
- Da questo film è stato tratto un romanzo, che svela alcuni particolari ulteriori, come il fatto che i due bambini centauri sarebbero del casato di Urza Jaddo (Knives) e che l'Incidente Omega sarebbe legato al Capitano Jankowski.
Blooper
- Quando il Capitano Sterns viene ucciso, il suo sangue galleggia nell'abitacolo (la EAS Lexington non ha la sezione rotante e quindi non ha gravità artificiale). Ma un altro membro dell'equipaggio ha del sangue che gli scorre sul viso, cosa non possibile in assenza di gravità.
- Quando Sheridan si trova prigioniero sulla nave minbari, le mostrine con i suoi gradi cambiano da una inquadratura all'altra, alcune volte sono in ordine, altre sono penzolanti.
