Londo: I was there, at the dawn of the Third Age of mankind. It began in the Earth year 2257 with the founding of the last of the Babylon stations, located deep in neutral space. It was a port of call for refugees, smugglers, businessmen, diplomats and travelers from a hundred worlds. It could be a dangerous place, but we accepted the risk, because Babylon 5 was our last, best hope for peace. Under the leadership of its final commander, Babylon 5 was a dream given form, a dream of a galaxy without war, where species from different worlds could live side-by-side in mutual respect, a dream that was endangered as never before by the arrival of one man on a mission of destruction. Babylon 5 was the last of the Babylon stations. This is its story.

G'Kar (a Takashima): The Narn Regime is dedicated to peace!

Tempo: n.d.
Takashima (a G'Kar): If it makes you feel any better, I can send them a fruit basket.

Tempo: n.d.
Sinclair (a Lyta): Sooner or later, everyone comes to Babylon 5.

Tempo: n.d.
Sinclair (a Lyta): Babylons one, two and three were sabotaged and destroyed. Number four vanished without a trace 24 hours after becoming operational. To this day no one knows what happened to it.

Tempo: n.d.
Delenn (a Sinclair): On my world, there are books, thousands of pages, about the power of one mind to change the Universe, but none said it as clearly as this.

Tempo: n.d.
Delenn (a Sinclair): Here is a copy of everything I have. It may be of use. If anyone asks, say it fell from the sky.

Tempo: n.d.
Delenn (a Sinclair): Commander, you know everything about your stone garden. But clearly, you have not spent nearly enough time looking at it.

Tempo: n.d.
Londo (a Garibaldi): Damn. You see, it's your fault. You're bad luck. I've always said that about him. Now, come on, come on. Look, you're a security chief. Shouldn't you be out securing something?

Tempo: n.d.
G'Kar (a Lyta): We have no telepaths among my people. A genetic oversight I suppose. One which you could help correct. I am empowered to compensate you quite handsomely for your genetic background.

Tempo: n.d.
G'Kar (a Lyta): Would you prefer to be conscious or unconscious during the mating? I would prefer conscious, but I don't know what your... pleasure threshold is.

Tempo: n.d.
Kyle (a Sinclair, su Kosh): Even for an alien, this one is pretty alien.

Tempo: n.d.
G'Kar: We have unlimited manpower and the will to use it! Can you imagine what we could achieve together?
Delenn: I can, which is why it must never be allowed to happen.

Tempo: n.d.
Londo: I suppose there'll be a war now, hmm? All that running around and shooting at one another. You would've thought sooner or later it would go out of fashion.

Tempo: n.d.
Londo (a Garibaldi): My god, man. We've become a tourist attraction. "See the great Centauri Republic, open 9 to 5, Earth time."

Tempo: n.d.
Londo: Nice shark... pretty shark.

Tempo: n.d.
Takashima (a Kyle): I haven't broken the rules in a long time, doctor, so I guess... I'm about due.

Tempo: n.d.
Garibaldi: I don't trust telepaths. Never have, never will.

Tempo: n.d.
Sinclair (a Garibaldi): Michael, I picked you because you are right for the job. You are not politicking, you are not subtle, and sometimes you are a pain in the ass. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Tempo: n.d.
Sinclair (sulla Battaglia della Linea): The sky was full of stars and every star an exploding ship, one of ours.

Tempo: n.d.
Sinclair (sulla Battaglia della Linea): No, we were beaten. We didn't stop them, they stopped themselves. I wish the hell I knew why.

Tempo: n.d.
Assassino minbari: There is a hole... in your mind.

Tempo: n.d.
Garibaldi (a Sinclair): Commander, this little breach of security isn't going to affect my Christmas bonus, is it?

Tempo: n.d.
Sinclair: Delenn, just before he died, the Minbari assassin looked at me and said: "There's a hole in your mind."
Delenn: An old Minbari insult. Nothing you need to worry about.

Tempo: n.d.
Delenn (a Sinclair): I would never tell you anything that was not in your best interest.

Tempo: n.d.
Sinclair: A poem: a story in meter or rhyme.
Delenn: Ah. "There once was a man from Nantucket..."
Sinclair: You've been talking to Garibaldi again, haven't you?

Tempo: n.d.
Takashima: This is Lieutenant Commander Laurel Takashima. Our docking bays stand ready to receive you. Babylon 5 is open for business.
